Head teacher Paul Cotter introduced the fee because he said it cost 1,000 to stage the production. But one parent lamented, 'Whatever happened to the spirit of Christmas?' A six-year-old hoodie-wearer in Hampshire was accosted by a shopping centre security guard for being 'intimidating', while wearing his school jacket with the hood up and holding his mother's hand. Jack Johnson has now received an apology and gift vouchers from the centre's manager, said the Daily Express. His mother Tracey said, 'It has been difficult to explain to Jack because he thinks he's done something wrong.'
