The children and staff of the Foundation Stage Unit at Chilton Primary School have been exploring the work of Jackson Pollock, the American painter from the Abstract Expressionist movement.

'Children throughout the unit were motivated by his exciting form of "action" painting which involved dripping, splashing and spattering paint and observing the resulting lines and shapes,' says reception teacher Jill Anderson.
