Nursery World readers reveal their latest finds

I have to say my Kindle is my favourite thing. I love it - being able to read anywhere at any time without carrying around tons of heavy books or newspapers is absolutely wonderful. It can hold up to about 3,500 books so you can have all sorts of reading material at the touch of a button. I take it on holiday, to bed and even have been known to take it to the cinema!

Doing the Animal Bop Big Book is my favourite children's book. It's colourful, lively and noisy as it encourages children to walk and talk like the animals, including waddling like a penguin, stomping like a rhino and jiving and jiggling and jumping and wiggling to the monkey bop!

My favourite thing at the moment is my iPhone - I love it because I can do so much while on the run - care for the grandchildren and while in the park send an e-mail, take a photo, let them make a video of each other on the swings or download a short video when we are stuck in traffic - great for the kids - great for the oldies.

For me it is the Easy Reach (affectionately known as the grabber). Whether at home with children, or in a school or nursery, the grabber is the essential tool that will prevent an aching back and tired legs. It comes in a variety of lengths and makes clearing away toys and picking up anything from the floor almost a pleasure. A must have for any childminder, nursery, school or home.
