The manager of Nurtured@Skelmanthorpe, Penny Hanley, along with operations director Rebecca Casserly, were invited to a private tour of the Houses of Parliament following a visit by Claire Countinho MP, who was the children’s minister at the time, to the setting with their local MP Mark Eastwood.
Penny said, ‘The experience was so surreal and it was an honour for the setting.’
