A 150,000 project that

A 150,000 project that will provide training, creche and office facilities for the Creggan Pre-school and Training Trust in Derry was opened last week by John Hunter, permanent secretary at the Department for Social Development. The CPTT will be able to use its services to include pre-school places for three-to five-year-olds, afternoon play facilities, community-based adult education programmes, and support groups for young women, parents and toddlers. Mr Hunter said, 'The project demonstrates how communities can work in partnership with statutory organisations and funding bodies to address the identified needs of local people.'
