(Photograph) - Hundreds of children were among the onlookers who turned out to see a mechanical elephant the size of a three-story house as it reached Horse Guards Parade in London last week. The 42-ton elephant, inspired by Jules Verne's The Tale of the Sultan's Elephant, made a four-day trip around central London, together with a 14ft high puppet girl built and operated by French street theatre company Royal de Luxe.
