A specialist helpline for National Eczema Week

A specialist helpline is to be made available for a day during National Eczema Week later this month, giving expert advice about the condition. The week, from 21 to 28 September, will explore the theme 'I'm itching - who's listening?' and highlight the need for more information and more support for people with eczema, which affects one in five children in the UK. Margaret Cox, the society's chief executive, said, 'Eczema is on the increase and it is vital that the full picture about eczema, from the medical facts to its psychological effects, is made available to healthcare professionals.' The helpline, on 0870 241 3604, will be available from 10am to 4pm on 21 September.
