All boys

A Devon school has welcomed 20 four-year-old boys and not a single girl into its foundation class this term.

Head teacher of Bassett's Farm Primary School in Exmouth, ChristineJones, said it was a first for the school in its 30-year history. Theschool is making sure the newcomers mix with the other foundation class,which has 16 girls and 14 boys.
