Asco's brand new Alti System is designed to encourage children to explore and develop their balancing and climbing skills in a safe, indoor environment. The system can be added to as and when you wish and the pieces do not rely on linking to other parts, so can be quickly set up, changed and put away. The pieces can also be stacked from one to four high which makes the system suitable for very young children as well as being a challenge for those who are slightly older. Alti's surfaces have different textures - smooth, rough, soft and prickly - and there are flexible 'caterpillars' which fit into all the modules to provide arches for children to climb under and around. A set of four Alti bases with a diameter of 14cm and a height of 14.5cm is priced 29.95; a set of four tactile mats with four different textures is priced 50; a set of four caterpillars, measuring 4.5(d) and 158(l) cm is priced 45. The sets come in a range of bright colours.
