An 'orange' day highlighting the official colour of Sure Start was among a week of events for pre-school children in Hampshire during National Sure Start month. Meanwhile on Wearside, Sunderland early years partnership is organising a young reporter's competition and a dance named the Sure Start Shuffle. Other activities will include a duck hunt, a drawing and painting competition and the first of a series of work/life balance seminars for employers.
