The nursery group, which now operates 32 settings across England, has appointed Jo Turley (pictured below), who has 25 years’ experience working in the sector, as its new managing director.

It has also opened a flagship nursery in Houghton Regis, Bedfordshire. The 128-space two-storey setting is purpose built.

While Turley has held many senior leadership roles over the years, her career started as a nursery practitioner, working in a toddler room.

She says,  ‘Having visited most of our nursery settings and meeting our wonderful and inspiring team members. I feel privileged to be working for Ashbourne and I’m excited for what the future holds.’
