Children's secretary Ed Balls launched the Early Years Foundation Stage at Fellowship House children's centre, Newham, London, last week, joined by Councillor Quentin Peppiatt, centre manager Andrew Regan and the Mayor of Newham, Sir Robin Wales. Mr Balls said, 'I am driven by a determination to make sure the most disadvantaged children get the best start in life. We want to help all parents get the best care and support for their children.'
