Bright Horizons acquires My Family Care

Bright Horizons has bought My Family Care, including the Tinies nanny franchises.

Tinies Childcare was bought by Ben and Oliver Black in 2000, and has expanded to a network of more than 30 nanny and childcare agencies across the country.

It was followed by My Family Care, set up by the brothers with Amanda Coxen in 2005, which provides back-up care, including emergency childcare, maternity and paternity coaching and consultancy and training.

The sale does not include Tinies five nurseries in England and mobile crechès.

Bright Horizons is the UK’s second largest nursery group in the UK, operating more than 300 settings and providing employer-supported childcare, including workplace nurseries.

Globally the company runs more than 1,000 childcare centres in the United States, Canada, the Netherlands and India.
