Resources

Paint, washing-up liquid, straws, paper containers such as yoghurt twin pots, coloured paper triangles

Step by step

* Mix the paint and washing-up liquid with water in the containers.

* Ensure the children can blow through a straw. They can try with a pot of water. n Then let them blow bubbles using the paint mixture. Place a sheet of paper on top of the container to catch them. The fish shape is determined by the pot shape.

* Glue on triangles for fins, tails, etc and draw eyes to finish.
