The Buckingham Palace garden party for children on 25 June extended a special invitation to Norland College. Six of its second-year students helped St John Ambulance to look after lost children who'd got separated from their parents. The Norlanders were presented to the Queen and Prince Philip, and they themselves were being recognised by the celebrities performing in the party panto broadcast on BBC TV. Was it the nanny uniform that gave them away, or their professionalism?
