CACHE offers two awards

CACHE offers two awards which can be taken at school by those over the age of 14. The CACHE Entry Level Certificate in Preparation for Childcare links to Basic Skills, and provides training in caring for children at home. The CACHE Foundation Award in Caring for Children involves a multiple-choice paper and placement in a setting, and is considered a Level 1 award. Neither award is a licence to practise, but from here, candidates can move on to Level 2 qualifications.
