Childcare provision in Solihull

Children enjoyed all the fun of the fair while their parents chatted to local childcare providers at an event organised by the Solihull Children's Information Service on behalf of the Early Years Development and Childcare Partnership. Stilt walkers, balloon modellers, fairground rides and Punch and Judy were on hand with the information stalls in Solihull's Mell Square. Councillor Ken Meeson, the chair of Solihull EYDCP, said, 'The event highlighted the range of childcare provision in Solihull. The aim was to help busy parents make informed choices and to provide information on employment opportunities in childcare.'
