It would be difficult to miss the latest Government proposals about how we work with colleagues in other agencies. The Children Act 2004 and the Change for Children agenda introduced a duty on local authorities to make arrangements to promote co-operation between agencies and other appropriate bodies in order to improve children's wellbeing (as defined by the five outcomes). Nurseries are referred to in the ten- year strategy document, especially those which are children's centres, though integration of services for children includes those which are not.
