A new credit card called Chalkchalk is being launched by parents to enable nurseries and schools to increase their fundraising activities. The Chalkchalk card can be used in exactly the same way as any other credit card, except that for every pound you spend on the card your nominated school or school project will be credited with two pence. At the moment about 325 schools have signed up to this scheme but Chalkchalk is in the process of negotiating a higher rate of return for fundraisers and hopes that more schools and parents will sign up when this happens. Chalkchalk also has a partnership with a shopping network, providing a higher rate of 'money back' for customers who choose to use the listed stores. If you sign your nursery or school up with Chalkchalk now you will receive an automatic credit for your school funds of 15 and be entered into a prize draw with a chance of winning 5,000.
