The survey, in its fourth year, has three main themes:
- To understand more about educators’ sense of having a ‘community of practice’.
- Wellbeing of those working in the sector.
- Government’s increasing interest in early years education.
Dr Helen Edwards, co-founder of Tapestry, said, ‘This year, one of the key things we want to examine are the ways in which early years educators stay connected, share practice and support each other. Given the pressures on the sector, this connection to each other is particularly valuable. We also want to hear from educators about the recent Government announcements on early years, and how they will impact settings.’
Those who take part in the survey will be entered into a prize draw for the chance to win £50 of M&S vouchers.
A summary of the results will be published on the Tapestry and Foundation Stage Forum websites later this year.
