East Prescot Road Nursery School

(Photograph) - Children from East Prescot Road Nursery School in Liverpool have planted oak, birch and ash trees with the help of a group of visiting nursery school teachers from Scandinavia. The project is part of an ongoing partnership to share good practice and devise a more adventurous outdoor play environment. The nursery's head teacher, Louise Boyd, said, 'We want children to learn from the natural environment. The challenge that we have in Britain is how to provide adventurous outdoor play in a safe, secure way.'
