We were especially thrilled with the results of our first-ever Nursery of the Year Award, sponsored by Morton Michel, with prizes from Community Playthings. The entries, which required a lot of reflection and hard work from participating nurseries, were of a really high overall standard, and our four winners displayed some exceptional practice in building and supporting dedicated staff teams, creating a wonderful atmosphere, working with parents, and, most importantly, putting children at the centre of all they do.
they show that best practice can be achieved whether a setting is in the state or the private sector and across a variety of physical environments and circumstances. Congratulations to all the winners, who will be an inspiration to everyone providing full daycare.
