Everyday low price

I fully agree with the comments about low rates of pay in the childcare sector that were highlighted in the Daycare Trust report Who will care? (News, 4 October). It seems funny that someone stacking shelves in Sainsbury's who does fewer hours still gets paid a lot more money than me. Yet they do not have the responsibilities of looking after something precious, as we all do, nor work the hours that we do.
