We are trained, experienced childcare professionals. Childminding rates start at 1.25 per hour, and the average rate is 2.25 per hour in our local area (out of which we have to deduct our own expenses).
Childminders have backup emergency plans not just for illness, but also for short-notice emergency cover, and Ofsted inspects our homes for safety.
Please could Ms Mills let us know where the day nursery is that has two members of staff to one child, because we would all like a job there and be able to earn the minimum wage!
