Here is a tiny selection of the activities that children can enjoy at Forest School and their links to just some of the stepping stones and early learning goals within the Foundation Stage curriculum. Colour collecting

Show curiosity. Respond to simple instructions. Count reliably up to 10. Examine objects and living things to find out more about them. Move with pleasure and confidence. Begin to differentiate colours. Log dragging

Persist for extended periods of time. Use words and/or gestures, including body language such as eye contact and facial expression to communicate. Use mathematical language in play.
