Nursery World in conjunction with Montessori St Nicholas charity is offering readers a free DVD that demonstrates how the Montessori teaching method can be delivered in settings.
The film, which was shot at Paint Pots Montessori Nursery in Hyde Park, London, features Tana Ramsay, a qualified Montessori teacher, who talks to parents, teachers, students and children to find out their views on why the teaching method is so popular and effective.
It also looks at Montessori teaching as a career option and includes an interview with Barbara Isaacs, the principal of Montessori Centre International, the largest Montessori teaching training provider in Europe.
