Nurseries and other childcare providers can order a free fundraising pack featuring Something Special’s Mr Tumble to raise money for Comic Relief.
The pack includes a fundraising guide, posters, stickers and balloons designed exclusively for nurseries and early years organisations.
Last year, as part of Red Nose Day 2018, nurseries and schools raised more than £5 million in aid of Comic Relief.
Comic Relief schools fundraising lead, Laura Wilson, said the event provides even more for children than opportunities to fundraise.
‘Red Nose Day also gives little ones a great chance to learn more about the world around them and how Comic Relief is working to change lives both at home in the UK and around the globe.
‘Within our fundraising pack, little ones are introduced to three-year-old Syrian refugee Lawand. This little boy is living with his family in a summer camp turned haven for refugee families, funded by Comic Relief in Lesvos, Greece.’
Nurseries can order their packs and find other resources, including recipes, games, guides and educational activities, at www.comicrelief.com/nurseries
Packs must be ordered before 10 March to receive them in the post in time for Red Nose Day 2019 on 15 March.
