The forum seeks to promote better services for children by bringing together professionals from around the world to explore the hallmarks of quality. Topics this year will include national perspectives on early care and education, males in a female-dominated profession, and displaced and marginalised children.

Last year's forum in Athens, Greece, attracted 510 attendees from 80 nations, including consultants, researchers and leaders of non-governmental organisations, as well as early years practitioners.
