Glowing reports from Ofsted

Glowing reports have been received by two Early Excellence Centres in the latest round of Ofsted inspections, published last week. The centre that forms part of Legh Vale Community Primary School in Haydock, Merseyside, was described as 'particularly well led'. The school, attended by children aged two to 11 years, was praised for its quality of teaching, and the reception classes were highlighted as being 'consistently very good'. First Steps, an Early Excellence Centre based in Twerton, Bath, was also highly commended in its inspection report, which said it had excellent strategies in place to promote good behaviour and consideration of others.
