I am a qualified NNEB and work alongside a nursery teacher covering four rural nursery schools in a week. She is very supportive of my studies and shows a genuine interest in the work I have to undertake for my course. We work as a team. This includes planning together and, if possible, working into the planning time for me to cover the observations and activities I need to complete.
The teacher has found my observations very valuable in tracking and assessing children and their work, while I have found her advice and support of immense benefit during my studies. Without this kind of guidance and help it would have been almost impossible for me to continue with the course.
