Nursery World and Learning through Landscapes (LTL) have teamed up once again to provide early years settings with another fantastic opportunity to improve their outdoor environment.
Each year the Nursery World Outdoor Challenge inspires an overwhelming number of entries from practitioners up and down the country who want to improve their outdoor provision.
Last year the first prize went to Edwalton Day Nursery in Nottingham. As well as winning lots of outdoor equipment, the nursery also benefited from membership and a consultation visit from LTL to discuss its existing use of the garden and support its plans for development (see box).
