Here we grow

Starting nursery is a big step for both children and their parents, and an innovative scheme, called Here We Grow, has been developed at a Sure Start Project in Haringey, north London, to ease the transition, writes Tom Morris. Sure Start aims to meet the social, emotional, health and learning needs of children under the age of four, as well as strengthen families and communities. Here We Grow has provided an ideal opportunity for the local health, education and adult learning agencies to work together to meet these targets.
