If you smoke, I smoke campaign

(Photograph) - Every baby born this month in England will be given a bib bearing the slogan, 'If you smoke, I smoke', as part of a Government drive to highlight the dangers of passive smoking. The bibs are being backed up by a television advertising campaign showing babies with cigarette smoke coming out of their mouths. Chief medical officer Sir Liam Donaldson said, 'Other people's cigarette smoke is a worry for children and parents are concerned about their children's health. Babies are too young to say they don't like second-hand smoke, or move away.' A survey for the Department of Health has found that a majority of parents who smoke worry about smoking near their children, and are concerned about them growing up to smoke too.
