In brief...Children in Scotland conference

Delegates to a conference in the Scottish Borders tomorrow (2 November) will be considering questions such as, 'Do we listen to children enough?'. Organised by Children in Scotland and held at Peebles Hydro, the conference will explore children's voices in the family, in the community and at a national level. The conference, chaired by Willis Pickard, former editor of the Times Educational Supplement in Scotland, is being preceded by a day of study visits around the Scottish Borders region, focusing on examples of good practice such as New Community Schools.
