An inquiry is to be undertaken into Initial Teacher Training (ITT) and Continuing Professional Development (CPD) for teachers, the Children, Schools and Families Committee has announced.
The terms of reference for the inquiry are measuring quality; entry intothe teaching profession; the delivery of ITT; and CPD provision. Thecommittee is seeking written submissions by 2 February 2009.
