Yes, we may seem to be a minority in the childcare sector, but we are still around and, in some areas, thriving by diversifying into full-time care and children's centres.
Many staff who work in pre-schools are highly qualified with loads of experience and local knowledge of the area they work in. My staff are mature, capable people who love children and have chosen this part of the voluntary sector in which to share their knowledge.
We do serve communities. Our pre-school, which is accredited, has forged links with the local primary school and meets the needs of local parents.
