Six nurseries in the East Riding of Yorkshire have been awarded Investors in People (IiP) status within six months of starting the quality evaluation programme. Fountain Farm Children's Day Nursery, Gable House Nursery and Pre-school, Le Mont Children's Day Nursery, Teenyworld Children's Day Nursery and Happy Kidz Nurseries all took part in a business development course supported by Business Link Humber, the East Riding of Yorkshire Council, and the Learning and Skills Council. A sixth local setting, Pocklington Montessori School, gained IiP within three months.
