I believe that Barbara Woodhouse has been reincarnated... as the 'Supernanny'. I have watched only one programme in this TV series and would not watch another. Did everyone not feel sorry for the poor mum who got herself into such a pickle with the children? But what of the advice?

I heard the words punishment, naughty corner/stair etcetera. I do not recall hearing the words positive reinforcement, love or affection (please correct me if I am wrong).
I've got to go now. Must find the children's leads and take them out - 'Siii...tuh! Come along children, walkies! If you do that again I'll take away another toy. No, not the lamppost. It's the naughty basket for you when we get home.'
