With the help of Jamie's school food pack we started making all our ownsauces, including homemade curry sauce and tomato-based sauce. Wereplaced biscuits with fruit and introduced salad and vegetables atsnack time.
In recognition of this, we are the first south Liverpool nursery to beawarded the Greater Merseyside Food Charter, given to people who arepromoting a healthy heart and diet. We would like to thank Jamie Oliverfor his recipes and our cook Mavis Jones for her excellent culinaryskills.
