This is a story for the very youngest children, though older children may enjoy it, too. To tell it, you will need a little teddy bear - a finger-puppet teddy would be good as the story actions involves the bear 'travelling' from your shoulder to the tips of your fingers and back again.
Little Bear loved his Mummy and Little Bear's Mummy loved him.
Show Little Bear snuggling into your shoulder.
One day, Little Bear told his Mummy he was going on an adventure.
Show Little Bear waving goodbye at your shoulder.
Little Bear's Mummy said, 'Goodbye, Little Bear. Take care and come home safe.'
