Scenario
Greg (4 years 2 months) and Louis (3 years 11 months) look at three pineapple tops in the sand tray. Louis asks, 'What's these? Apples?' Greg picks one up, turns it around, smells it and feels the leaves. 'It's a tree! It's a spiky tree!' Louis touches the leaves and agrees, 'Yes! It's a spiky tree!'
Greg rearranges the 'trees', places a bucket on its side and puts a toy lion inside. 'This is the lion's house....No! (gesturing to Louis to take his animal away) Don't put the monkey in here - the lion will eat it! Lions eat animals!....Grrr!'
