Low inoculation rates are putting London at risk of a measles outbreak among more than 10,000 people, the London Assembly heard on Monday.
Representatives of NHS London told the Assembly's Health and PublicServices committee that the capital 'could be looking at an outbreak offour figures'. In the boroughs of Newham and Lewisham, only 55.8 percent and 58.2 per cent of children respectively have been immunised,against a national average of around 84 per cent.
