Prams used to push generations of royal babies have been so popularised by Hollywood stars like Angelina Jolie and Liz Hurley that the manufacturer, Silver Cross, is opening up production in the US, reported The Guardian. The 130-year-old Yorkshire-based company starts operating in Delaware this month, predicting a turnover of 2m in the first year and 10m over the next three years.

Another product on American shop shelves is taking on Barbie and Bratz,reported The Daily Telegraph. A foot-high plastic Jesus doll, and otherBiblical figures including Joseph and Mary, Spirit Warrior Samson, andPeter and Paul Messenger, will quote scripture at the push of a button.They are being stocked at retail giant Walmart, which owns Asda in theUK.
