One in four Scottish parents worry 'all the time' about their parenting skills, according to a survey reported in Scotland on Sunday. It suggests parents are becoming over-protective. This was confirmed by a UK-wide NOP survey that showed a third of children would not be allowed outside on their own during half-term due to 'fears of violence and abduction', as reported in the Independent on Sunday.
