Men and money

We need more men to work with young children in the early years sector. I think that one of the main issues keeping men away from working in this field may be the low wages being paid to practitioners. Only when we resolve this problem and stop the huge turnover of teachers and nursery nurses from settings, will we be able to invest our time in recruiting more men in this wonderful and rewarding field.
