Modular buildings: 'No damp or draughts'

'At the end of last year, for example, we completed a 42-place nursery from point of order to point of delivery, and the client was actually using the building in less than eight weeks.

'We are just starting to see planners granting permanent permission for modular buildings. It used to be that they would only grant permission for five to ten years. A decade ago it was said that the design life of a modular building was 20 years; nowadays the manufacturers are going on a lifespan of around 40 years.
