Childcarers of all types deserve good pay for a demanding and vital job, but this will not happen if families are unable to meet the fees. More Government subsidies and tax allowances are needed urgently.
One way of reinforcing what a great job many childcarers do, and raising the status of this work, is to give awards to the very best in the field.
