The National Autistic Society launched a new helpline this week for children with autism and their families. The new phone number, supported by Barclays, is charged at local rate and also offers access to an interpreter service in 120 languages for non-English speakers via three-way calling. The NAS helpline is open Monday to Friday, 10am to 4pm, on 0845 070 4004.
