Working with Parents: A Shared Understanding of the Curriculum 3 to 5 explores how staff in early years settings can facilitate communication and contact with parents, based on a shared understanding of the principles of the Curriculum Framework 3 to 5 document. It stresses that children's learning and parents' role in it cannot be seen in isolation from the wider, constantly changing needs of families and the communities in which they live.
