A story on CD is narrated by Olympic athlete Denise Lewis, the patron ofStart to Play who appears in the Fizz storybooks as the motivationalcharacter Dee Dee.

Liz Scoular, programme manager for early years, said, 'We're aiming thisat anybody who works with children under five - nurseries, childmindersand children's centres. Parents are the hardest to crack, so forsettings to target parents is important. They can borrow equipment fromthe setting and make an impact at home as well.

'The pack is a tool to make the job easier, and we believe it'saffordable for nurseries. The equipment is in all sorts of colours andtextures, including little animal bean bags, shapes, scarves, andparachute games. We're providing a package to help children play, usetheir imagination and get active,' she added.
